Item Sales History at a Touch

Touch H to see an instant summary of an item's sales history with the quantity and dollar amount sold and returned each month and year.

The History Graph is excellent for showing the quantity sold (shown in blue), the received amount (shown in green), and the average cost.

The History Graph is one of the best ways to view an item's selling ability. You can check how many you have sold over the last year or quarter versus the number you receive. Then view the totals, averages, minimums, and maximums of cost to determine the best quantity to order.

Best Deal Calculator
One of the greatest features of CAP BuyWise is the ability to know which deals, offered by the vendor, are best.

Security Monitor (Reduce Theft and Shrinkage)

Also, see which clerks are the most effective. Display total sales and number of transactions in dollars and percent.

Inventory - Description Report
List inventory exactly as you want. Select the order (alphabetical by Description, Numerical by Number, etc.), set the range (the entire inventory or start and end somewhere in between), then select which fields and where they appear on the report. You can save the definition and recall it for repeated use. Here is a sample:

Inventory - Inventory Check

Printed lists, in a convenient order, make it much easier to check stock. This list shows the quantity that should be present and has a space for writing the actual quantity counted. A list can be printed that does not show the expected quantity.

Inventory Check without Showing Quantity
Here is a list that doesn't show the quantity on hand. You may not want the person taking the count to know what is expected. The price is shown so that Shelf Label Prices may be verified at the same time.

Inventory Price Levels
Each item can have up to 94 price levels that are triggered when a customer is selected from Names. Here we have three levels, A, B and C.

Under Stocked Vendors
Use the understock report to automatically generate PO's for those items that you lack. Using the understock report, you do not have to track down those items that you need.

Item Order
Know the inventory status of every item that you are ordering. From the number you are ordering in this PO to how many you have on hand to how much each item costs, the Item Order screen gives you all the information you need.

Item Sales and Receiving History Graph
Select View to see how many were sold, and received, each week for any date range. This is a case where a graph gives a better feel for stock movement than a column of numbers.

Customer Names and Vendor Reports
Since the names and vendor databases are similar, and the names database has more features, we'll describe only the names.

The names database holds customer information; name, address, contact notes, correspondence, purchasing history, sales history and payment records. Sales on account and payments are recorded in real time so the account is always up to the second at every station on the network.

User Defined Lists
Lists can be defined for names and vendors much like the inventory lists we looked at earlier. The list definitions can be saved and recalled for future use. Lists can be printed, saved in a text file and used to print mailing labels with PostNet Bar Codes.
